There is a fine line between imaginary faces and real ones. This one is imaginary. I just love making up people that don't exist...or do they? This was the first portrait I had done with the green leafy background, initially inspired by Frida Kahlo. Her portraits always have a lush forest behind the model.
This artwork I made as a greeting card, which I sent to my mum back in the U.K.

Self Portrait
I've been bad! I forgot all about my wee blog. Lately I've been inspired a lot by the artist Daniel Mackie. I just love his watercolour designs. He seems to be on the ball with his blog posts too, which has in affect made me post this. yae! Hope you enjoy.
