My current portrait is of Chantelle Berg, fellow artist and amazing friend. This time I thought I would show you the process of my work. Firstly I select a photo or image of my model and grid it up. I then directly draw the image straight onto the watercolour paper, shading and all! Before I would laboriously make one copy then transfer it onto watercolour paper, but I found this was a waste of time, besides I am so impatient all I want to do is get the paint on!! Watch this space for the finished product...
I think this will be the prettiest and most highly valued work in your collection, and there is no way that I am biased.
